Top Secret (1984) Monk's Prayer
Top Secret (1984) by ZAZ
Monk's Prayer while escorting Nick Rivers to his execution:
In the name of father, sick spirit, nephew of god’s mother (distorted from “madre des dios” literally means Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus) , every Gallia is divided in three parts, durable body of the crime (Law term meaning Substantial Proof of the crime), something for something (also a name of a movie), I come, I saw, I conquered (Famous saying by J. Caesar), by the fact that, we have a new pope (This phrase is used to announce the public by the highest ranking cardinal when a new pope is elected), people resisting are saluting you (The original is : the dieing is saluting you. Here "you" means the god. Again a distorted Latin phrase ). The walking with equal steps is at my back, not repeating , repating and interrupting myself.(?? Very broken Italian including some gibberish must mean something like that). And so (it is also a bit distorted the original phrase is “ma dai” meaning “come on; please”) and went and went and up and down (“su e giu” is also a name of an Italian TV program) and finally here, further up, and time flies, suspension of times ( again a distorted version of “caveat emptor” – a law term meaning let the buyer beware), sexual intercourse where the penis is withdrawn before ejaculation, incites blood, blood … for woman... what the fuck (literally “what cock you’re telling” in italian but added -us at the end of Italian words to make it sound more like Latin ) amen.
